In this class you’ll learn to make two special Jewish savoury pastries that aren’t as well known as some others, but are just as delicious!
A knish is a flaky pasty filled with mashed potato and caramelised onion, and in our version, topped with creme fraiche and chives, to make it extra special.
Bialy’s are bagels less popular sister, but they don’t deserve that! A similarly chewy dough, but with a crisper crust, and instead of the hole in the middle, they hold a pocket of caramelised onions! I love serving them in a Jewish style brunch, with hummus, poached eggs and halloumi.
Class will run for approximately 3.5 hours on Sunday the 5th of September at 11am. You are not required to bring anything, just wear comfortable, closed toe shoes. You will be provided with a box to take your pastries home. All classes are run at our NEW ADDRESS 128F Park road, Miramar
